Your data

Why m-Indicator asks you to sign in with Google Optional

Timetables, live train status, bus routes and most other features work without an account. When you choose Sign in with Google, the app requests only your basic Google profile: your name, email address and profile picture. We use this to:

  • identify your account and keep your preferences across devices;
  • let you post messages in TrainChat and disruption chat, so other commuters can see who shared an update and so abuse can be reported;
  • create your ResumeDB job profile, if you choose to use the Jobs feature;
  • send you service messages and alerts you have asked for.

We never sell your information, and you can delete your account and data from inside the app at any time. Full details, including how data is stored, shared and deleted, are in our Privacy Policy & Terms.
